The gift of free will makes us freely make choices, even ones that will have unimaginable consequences. However, that is the beauty of this gift from God Himself to all intelligent beings. Every association or group will have former members, aka ex-members. Don’t fight people because they leave. Even angels in Heaven have former members called devils.
