People will not listen to you if you do not listen to them, even if they are wrong and you are right. These days, I like to listen and learn from the perspective of the speaker. This way, biases are reduced or nullified, allowing a better understanding of their viewpoint. Whether it is an atheist, a conspiracy theorist who says Jesus is not real, or something strange or weird, I stop reacting and listen as a student to a teacher.
